The Temple of the Obelisks

In Lebanon, I came across the mostly bronze Byblos figurines or Phoenician statuettes. They were tall and skinny, and the shape was quite distinct from anything I have seen in the region. A variety of these figurines were found in the temple of the Obelisks in Byblos, installed pottery jars together with tools weapons, jewellery, and other ritual objects. It got me interested in discovering the vast culture and the diverse landscape of Lebanon.
