YU (渔)

In Chinese culture, the symbol of fish has two attributed qualities. The first one is the aspect of abundance (because of the ability of fish to quickly reproduce in large quantities). The second one is the fact that the Chinese word for fish (yú 鱼) is pronounced the same way as abundance (yu 余).
